Expiration by Naushena

Expiration

A leaf- a brown leaf
Dangled on a brown tree,
Shaken by the blowing wind
Then came the gust and broke the connection
The connection was broken.
The leaf dropped on the ground,
Rustled with other dying leaves
As embers do in a fire,
Someone tread on it.
It was trodden.
It crumbled and was no more.
